Where have I been?

Oh dear me. I almost forgot that I have a blog! It's a good thing that a thoughtful friend mentioned that she liked my blog. And I said, "Blog? What blog? Oh yeah!"

I took me a few days to wind down from all the Holy Week services and then Pascha...we had an excellent feast with friends. (Thank you again if you are reading this!) Orthodox Christianity: The Fullness of the Faith.

Then I went on several field trips with the kids in the fair spring weather. The best was the quarry. Did you know how they know when to stop working a quarry? When the cost of getting the rocks up from the depths is no longer worth it. We visited a quarry that is 550 feet deep and they will stop digging at 700 feet.





Also, today I visited a disappointing homeschool co-op. Most co-ops I have visited are sub par. It wouldn't take much to please me...just teach accurate facts, use proper grammar for simple sentences and, for crying out loud, send children out of the room who continually disrupt the class!
