In late May my daughter had her first dance recital on a big stage. She gave a beautiful and moving performance as a flower to a song adapted from 1 Peter 1:24/Isaiah 40:6-8..."All flesh is like the grass, the grass withers and fades away. But the word of the Lord endures forever. The glory of man, like a flower, shrivels in the sun and falls. But the word of the Lord endures forever."
